Soy una Licenciada Profesional Candidata Bilingue en Consejería con una Maestría en Salud Mental de la University of Northern Colorado. Terminé mi grado de Bachiller en Psicología en la Metropolitan State University en Denver el 2019. He servido a la comunidad asistiendo con la salud mental desde el 2012 en el condado de Summit y Denver.

Estuve muy interesada en consejería para ayudar a otros y aprender más acerca de mi misma. Yo estaba lidiando con depresión, nuevos cambios en la vida, y aculturación hace mucho tiempo atrás y recuerdo cuando tuve mi primera sesión se sintió muy extraño y diferente porque yo crecí en una cultura donde hubo/hay mucho estigma acerca de la salud mental. El otro factor que me llevó hasta este punto de mi vida es la falta de proveedores bilingües y biculturales. Esta experiencia me hizo sentir aislada en mi proceso terapéutico. Pero a la vez me motivó para seguir mis estudios y así yo proveer servicios en español a la comunidad Latinx. Por estas razones, hago hincapié en acompañarte en el proceso terapéutico, colaborar contigo en tu tratamiento, metas y proveer recursos que puedas usar fuera de las sesiones.

Siempre he tenido mucha pasión por ayudar a los clientes a mejorar su salud mental navegando el sistema y entendiendo sus emociones. Trabajo generalmente con adultos y adolescentes que pasan por traumas inter-generacionales, victimas de abuso sexual o violencia domestica, immigrantes, refugiados, depresion, ansiedad, PTSD entre otros mas.

I am a Psychotherapist with 18 years of experience in therapy for children and adults.

In my life I was never more sure than of my passion for Psychology. Having the ability to help families revitalizes me and fills me with satisfaction. I always wanted to prepare myself attending trainings and seminars to provide the most effective therapy posible.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State College of Denver, then earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in family therapy from the University of Northern Colorado.
